About

I’m a web strategist and designer based in South Louisiana, helping organizations create accessible, high-performing digital experiences. My work sits at the intersection of strategy, design, and governance, ensuring websites not only look great but function effectively for the people who rely on them.

I lead website strategy, redesigns, and CMS migrations that balance strong visual design with usability, accessibility, and long-term sustainability. From discovery through launch, I partner with stakeholders, developers, and content teams to build scalable digital ecosystems that support real organizational goals.

Currently, I serve as Director of Web Strategy at Southeastern Louisiana University, where I provide strategic leadership for the institution’s web presence across a large, decentralized ecosystem supporting thousands of pages and distributed content contributors. I oversee the design, development, content, and performance of university websites to support recruitment, retention, and institutional reputation.

I directed the full redesign of the university’s primary website and led a successful migration to WordPress, improving performance, usability, and editorial workflows across this complex environment.

In addition to platform strategy, I was appointed Southeastern’s Web Accessibility Coordinator, leading a campus-wide initiative to bring digital assets into compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards and ensure inclusive user experiences.

My role also spans governance, analytics, and digital marketing, from launching graduate program advertising campaigns to implementing policies, training contributors, and guiding long-term web operations. I regularly leverage tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and accessibility auditing platforms to inform performance and optimization decisions.

Prior to higher education, I led digital marketing efforts for a regional commercial real estate firm, managing multi-site web ecosystems, social media strategy, email marketing, and analytics reporting. Earlier in my career, I worked across agency, government, e-commerce, and freelance environments, building a foundation in both design and front-end development that continues to inform my strategic work today.

When I’m not working on websites, you’ll usually find me creating something.

My family and I live in Holden, Louisiana, where our days are filled with raising our daughter, caring for our backyard chickens, and tackling the next home project. Much of my free time is spent crafting, DIY-ing, or planning our next adventure. I’ve always loved working with my hands and bringing creative ideas to life.

I’m also a longtime Disney fan and deeply appreciate the storytelling, design detail, and immersive experiences that make their parks and digital properties so impactful. That appreciation for thoughtful, experience-driven design strongly influences how I approach my professional work.

Whether I’m building a website, decorating for a party, or diving into a new DIY project, I’m happiest when I’m making ideas tangible.
